Have you wanted to attend a climate cafe session but hesitated at the thought of opening your heart to strangers? Do you want to bring the support of a climate cafe session to your friends and colleagues? 

We are offering private climate cafes to external groups beginning in 2027. Our team will provide light refreshments, all materials and supplies needed, and an experienced facilitator to guide an exploration of your group's climate-impacted thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

The climate cafe session can be hosted at one of our partner locations or at an alternative location of your choosing.

Our Partner Locations

Karuna Cottage is an urban sanctuary in a quiet neighborhood in NW Gainesville off Hogtown Creek. Full venue information, including rental fees, can be found at their website.

FOLC Farm* is a homestead and learning center where folks can come together to take classes, learn skills, share knowledge, have discussions and enjoy being in a peaceful setting where connecting with the land and others is possible. This gorgeous outdoor venue is located in SE Gainesville near Boulware Spring Nature Park. Gainesville Giving Garden* is a safe space for community to come together to grow food for community, and along the way, learn how to cultivate food sovereignty together. They’ve generously extended an invitation to CC GNV to use their urban farm space for our cafe sessions anytime no farm programming is scheduled. This site does not feature a kitchen or bathroom, however it does offer plenty of shade and the use of a sink with running water.

*For these venues, we would request a venue rental donation comparable to the rental fee at Karuna Cottage.
