Creating spaces for connection, climate resilience, and action in Gainesville, FL.
As Florida experiences intensifying climate impacts, Climate Cafe GNV brings people together to process what is happening, strengthen relationships, and connect to meaningful ways of responding.
We believe communities are better equipped to face climate challenges when people know one another, support one another, and have meaningful ways to contribute. In a warming world, one of the most powerful things we can do is deepen our connection to ourselves, one another, and the places we love.
It doesn't take an expert to see that climate change is affecting daily life across Florida. We're living with stronger hurricanes, hotter summers, rising insurance costs, and yes, even more evenings spent swatting mosquitoes. The impacts extend from infrastructure and ecosystems to our conversations, relationships, and sense of the future.
Climate Cafe GNV brings people together to reflect on this moment in history, form friendships, and practice caring for ourselves, each other, and the places we love.
However climate change is showing up in your life, you don't have to navigate it alone.
